Maple Bay offers gorgeous ocean view and water front properties as well as many upscale subdivisions, charm and sophistication.  While still a forest based community, the Cowichan Valley is also undergoing a transformation to that of a forestry, retirement, and tourism mixed economy.

Duncan also sports one of Canada’s only regulation rugby fields and the Cowichan Rugby Club.  Maple Bay not only offers great marinas, but also the Maple Bay Rowing Club.  Duncan is also serviced by 3 exemplary and internationally renowned private schools:  Queen Margaret’s School, Shawnigan Lake School, and Brentwood College.

Be sure to include Duncan in your mid-island tour!
